I am up in the air on this. Part of me thinks it is a super smart move on behalf of DKNY and truly a stealth WOM/guerrilla marketing operation that I would have come up with (since I'm so smart and great, of course). The other part of me thinks that it is in poor taste considering how the white bikes mean lost soldiers.
The jury is out on this one. For the NYPD, it was obviously considered to be in poor taste borderline illegal.
