GLO* power

Tonight, ladies and gentelman (or no one, since I can say with absolute certainty that no one reads this incoherent and not regularly enough updated blog full of runon sentences like this one) is Ghostland Observatory at the infamous Webster Hall.

Ghostland Observatory is a band. But not just any band. The duo is a crazy wacked the f out dude with braids who jumps around with more energy than LiLo on a cocaine binge and a guy who wears a vampire hood.

When I lived in Austin, I had no idea who they were....which is ironic because A) I was heavily immersed in the music scene 2) I worked for a music venue owner for multiple years C) I am just cool enough to know who anyone cool is.

I know, I know...it is like a travesty that somehow I have missed the boat on this one. Big time. I mean, its like across the ocean, around the globe Christopher Colombus style and already back and I'm STILL not on it.

Anyhow, a year since my Austin exit has passed and I ran into GLO at Lollapalooza, by accident. And I fell in love.

There is nothing quite like Sad, Sad City.

This video shows the exact minute at Lollapalooza when I realized how appropriate they are:

I'll let you know how it goes manana. Be prepared for some stories. The freaks will be out for this one ya'll. In droves.

CMJ + GLO = S-C-A-R-Y
