I went to Tailor. Scratch that, I attempted to go to Tailor last night at 6 p.m. with my best friend and a big time guy in the food + restaurant industry for a work-related meeting.
Imagine my embarassment when we arrive there and it is closed.
Especially when PER THEIR OFFICIAL WEBSITE IT IS LISTED AS OPEN.
[note: to see this you have to go to INFO on the left navigation and then click on INFORMATION when that interior menu pops up. Yes, they are too dumb to index their pages individually]
Specifically it lists (click for an expanded version):
Hours
upstairs: 6pm-12am (weekdays) & 1am (weekends)
downstairs: 5pm- 2am (weekdays) & 3am (weekends)
It says nothing about being closed on Monday.
When we were there a TAILOR employee came to the door, tried to get in, and was also confused as to why it wasn't open.
Paging Sam Mason--get your shit together.
Either you're an idiot or your restaurant is doing so poorly [per the reviewers who seem to see this fate as likely] that you have decided to close on Mondays. I would hope it is the former. I really love your smoked bourbon.
Here's a suggestion: update your official website.
ps--We went back at 7:30 and it was still closed.
