The word on the street is that hotelier [Ian Schrager's wet dream?] and former lover of Uma Thurman, the infamous owner of the William Beaver house [yes, as tacky and cheezy as it sounds] the one, the only André Balazs is selling off half of his hotel empire.
He has up on the chopping block: The Standards in LA, Miami and Hollywood [what??? the original???] and so is Midtown's Hotel QT.
What to make of this madness? Hopefully not a Beaver expansion.
