Rosie O'Donnell to return to TV via MSNBC ?

What a bad morning for Donald Trump.

Elizabeth Hassleback--even more pissed. Be careful, Rosie, she's pregnant.

Rosie O’Donnell is in talks with MSNBC to return to TV, The New York Times is reporting.

The paper is reporting that the network is in ongoing negotiations with the talk show host for a plethora of options. NBC has been aggressively courting Rosie in recent months for a number of jobs, including host of a possible new game show. Now it appears as though she might head to MSNBC instead.

O’Donnell is now being lined up for a 9:00 PM show, which would replace MSNBC’s flop Live with Dan Abrams.

That highly competitive time slot would see Rosie take on Larry King at CNN and Hannity & Colmes on Fox News.

At a book signing in Miami Beach on Sunday, O'Donnell seemed to confirm these rumors by stating that she would soon begin competing against “the guy with the suspenders and the long, long face,” a reference to King obviously.

The conversations with O’Donnell are continuing, and several aspects of her deal are yet to be finalized. These include how much she would be paid and whether or not she would also have a presence on the NBC network.

A cable talk show seems a perfect fit for Rosie---ie, more freedom, much more liberal audience. But are people tired of hearing her yapp?

I'm up in the air on this one. It is a draw for now. I tend to lean towards--please retire Rosie, but I'd have to see a few episodes to decide for sure. You?
