you so fry




Wow is this a freaking food day or what? I'm starving and its 10:38 and I can't stop writing about food.

Mad props to Ed Levine for starting this french fry honor roll. While I think a few big ones are left off (see my top 5 below) I think this is a great start.

ps--Mr. Levine: the french fries at Market Table are Campanaro's recipe from Little Owl. Just hit up brunch and you'll see. Yumm.

My top 5 would include (in random order):
Pomme Frites is #6 because it is just a freaking given. It should be on everyone's list so I'm not going to clog up my top 5 with it.

I must say, I think french fries as a snack (hopefully completely cooked sans trans fat) are becoming a chic trend. Just think about how Tori Spelling wants to start her own fry business.

Anyone who knows me knows that I think fries & burgers are totally appropriate.

The aftermath (eg, the fat)...not so much.
